It was another fantastic party at the K-1 All-Stars class! Everyone dressed up in their costumes, we combined with the Preschool class and 2nd/3rd grade class to have a costume parade throughout the school. Then we got together in the gym for a picture.
When we returned to the classroom we had fun carving and scooping out the insides of two pumpkins. Pumpkins are very hard to come by out here in Shaktoolik so they really enjoyed digging their hands into the pumpkins guts and drawing designs to create jack-o’lanterns!
After the jack-o’lanterns were carved the all-stars enjoyed Halloween arts and crafts. They created either a paper bag puppet or a paper plate mask.
